I’ve been toying with the idea of adding a DIY section to either this blog or my YouTube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/MyCoCreations/feed?view_as=public, or maybe even both.  There are many things that we do/use everyday and when it breaks or doesn’t quite work as well as we think it should then we usually just do without because we don’t want to spend money AGAIN on something that clearly wasn’t able to serve its purpose or intended purpose.

I am very good, if I may say so myself, with using odds and ends to create or recreate those items that break or never did the job properly to begin with.  I will also show you some ways to save money in the house, but specifically in the kitchen.

A few ideas I’ve thought of sharing:

DIY garbage bag holder – prevent the garbage bag from slipping into the can and a few other uses!

Recycling images/phrases from business cards – The vast array of things you can create

Homemade butter

Make your own re-usable snack bags

How to de-bone a chicken and why
